    General

    • Importing from and (new) Exporting to Quake MAP files, with more accurate conversion of brush attributes
    • Copy and paste to local clipboard
    • Screen real estate maximized for editing
    • Accelerator keys rebound for less hand movement while editing
    • Menus reorganized for better logic and functionality
    • Compile leak and log files correctly created and named
    • Select viewports or camera without unintentionally changing object selection, using the title bars of the viewports
    • Sun light entity support (sunlight doesn't lose intensity over distance)
    • Compilation constraints raised to allow more complex files
    • GTest and Reality Factory entity definition headers included

    Modeless Editing

    • Face and brush editing have collapsed to a single selection mode, and do not require mode switches between "face mode" and "brush mode"
    • Face and brush property dialogs are modeless and float above the main window
    • Immediately add a template without switching to "template mode"
    • Planned: Floating and modeless entity property dialog

    Increased Stability and Reliability

    • Many crash causing bugs eliminated
    • Always knows when a document has been modified, instead of sometimes closing without saving work
    • Fewer accidental user mistakes due to better keyboard accelerator bindings

    Modification Features

    • Rotate, scale, and move multiple brushes and entities at the same time
    • Move objects to absolute or relative locations
    • Center objects in a viewport
    • Change the name of brushes
    • Rotation snapping works with both templates and placed brushes

    Camera Features

    • Move camera position and orientation without using the mouse
    • Move the camera to an absolute or relative location
    • Center camera in a viewport, or center the viewport around a camera
    • Instantly point the camera at the current selection

    Viewport Features

    • Faster and flickerless updating of the viewports during selection and panning
    • Link viewports to simplify scrolling
    • Center viewport around the selected objects or the camera

    Texture Features

    • Add and Remove textures within the editor
    • Texture Locking
    • Planned: Better texture alignment controls
    • Planned: Automatic texture alignment
